Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the T&TG Trade Corporation platform (tntgcorp.com). By creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these terms. These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada.

1. Company Information

T&TG Trade Corporation (operating as T&TG Trade Corp) is a registered Import & Export (RM) corporation incorporated under Canadian law, headquartered at 9 Summerbridge Rd, Toronto, ON M1G 1L8, Canada.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account or place an order. By using this platform you confirm you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts under applicable law.

3. Products: Coffee & Food Safety

T&TG sells premium green coffee products (Arabica and Robusta) sourced from Uganda and Artisanal Coffee Based Goods. All coffee products imported into Canada comply with:

  • Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) requirements
  • Safe Food for Canadians Regulations (SOR/2018-108)
  • Canada Consumer Product Safety Act (S.C. 2010, c. 21)
  • Country of origin labelling requirements

Product descriptions, weights and prices are displayed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) / US Dollars (USD) as marked. All prices are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

4. Orders & Contract Formation (Ontario Consumer Protection Act, 2002)

Under the Ontario Consumer Protection Act, 2002, S.O. 2002, c. 30, Sched. A:

  • An order constitutes a binding agreement once confirmed by T&TG
  • For internet agreements, you have a 7-day right to cancel from the date of agreement, or within 30 days if we fail to provide required disclosures
  • Cancellation requests must be sent to tom.grouptrade@gmail.com
  • T&TG will confirm receipt of cancellation within 15 days
  • Refunds for cancelled orders will be processed within 15 days of cancellation

5. Pricing & Taxes

  • All prices are displayed in the currency indicated (CAD/USD)
  • Applicable Canadian federal GST (5%) and Ontario provincial HST (8%) may apply to domestic orders
  • International orders may be subject to import duties and taxes in the destination country: the buyer is responsible for these charges
  • T&TG reserves the right to update pricing with reasonable notice

6. Payment

We accept payment via credit/debit card (Stripe) and mobile money (Flutterwave). By submitting payment, you authorise T&TG to charge the stated amount. All payment processing is handled by PCI-DSS compliant third-party processors. T&TG does not store card details.

7. Delivery & Shipping

  • Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed
  • Risk of loss passes to the buyer upon delivery to the carrier
  • International shipping complies with Canadian Export and Import Permits Act (R.S.C., 1985, c. E-19)
  • Buyers are responsible for ensuring imports comply with their local laws

8. Returns & Refunds

  • Unused, unopened products may be returned within 30 days of delivery
  • Perishable or consumable goods (opened coffee) cannot be returned unless defective
  • Defective or incorrectly shipped products will be replaced or refunded in full
  • To initiate a return, email tom.grouptrade@gmail.com with your order number and reason
  • Return shipping costs are the buyer's responsibility unless the item is defective

9. T&TG Loyalty Points Programme

  • Loyalty points are earned at the published consumer rate (0.5%) on qualifying purchases
  • Referral points are earned at the referral rate (1.0%) on referred purchases
  • Points have no cash value until converted via a withdrawal request approved by T&TG administration
  • Payment of approved withdrawals occurs on Day 45 after the qualifying purchase
  • T&TG reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate the loyalty programme with 30 days' notice
  • Points cannot be transferred, sold or exchanged

10. Import & Export Compliance

T&TG operates as a registered Import & Export (RM) corporation. All cross-border trade complies with:

  • Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) requirements
  • Export and Import Permits Act (R.S.C., 1985, c. E-19)
  • Customs Act (R.S.C., 1985, c. 1 (2nd Supp.))
  • International trade agreements applicable to Canada, USA, Uganda, Kenya, Netherlands and Japan

11. Foreign Exchange Rates & Currency Disclaimer

In compliance with the Ontario Consumer Protection Act, 2002, S.O. 2002, c. 30, Sched. A and applicable Canadian financial regulations:

  • Informational only: Exchange rates displayed on the T&TG platform are provided for viewing and informational purposes only, sourced from third-party providers (Open Exchange Rates API). They are approximate estimates and are updated periodically.
  • Final rate disclosure: All final charges and fees applied to your purchase will be transparently displayed before your transaction is completed. Example: "0 USD is an approximate rate." The actual exchange rate applied to your transaction is determined solely by your credit card issuer or payment processor (Stripe / Flutterwave) at the time of the transaction. T&TG Trade Corp is not responsible for any rate differences applied by your financial institution.
  • Transparency obligation: Under the Ontario Consumer Protection Act, the price confirmed at checkout is the price charged. No hidden currency conversion fees are added by T&TG.
  • CRA accounting: For Canadian tax and accounting purposes, all T&TG revenue is converted to Canadian Dollars (CAD) using the official rate from the Bank of Canada Daily Exchange Rates Lookup Tool, as required by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) for GST/HST and income tax reporting under the Income Tax Act (R.S.C., 1985, c. 1 (5th Supp.)) and the Excise Tax Act (R.S.C., 1985, c. E-15).
  • Price display: Product prices are listed in USD unless otherwise stated. Equivalent CAD amounts shown are estimates only based on current indicative rates.

12. Prohibited Uses

You may not use this platform to: violate any Canadian or applicable law; submit false information; attempt unauthorised access; use automated scraping tools; or engage in any fraudulent activity. Violations may result in account suspension and legal action.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Ontario law, T&TG's liability for any claim arising from use of the platform is limited to the amount paid for the relevant order. T&TG is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages.

14. Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario. For consumer complaints, you may also contact the Consumer Protection Ontario at ontario.ca.

15. CASL Compliance (Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation)

All commercial electronic messages sent by T&TG comply with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (S.C. 2010, c. 23). Every marketing email includes a clearly visible unsubscribe mechanism. Transactional emails (order confirmations, withdrawal notifications) are sent pursuant to the implied consent provisions of CASL.

16. Changes to These Terms

T&TG may update these Terms with reasonable notice. Material changes will be notified by email. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
